8 July 2013,

On request of salvage company Tsavliris from Greece, Siri Marine mobilized personnel and equipment to assist during salvage operations on a 28700 ton bulk carrier. The vessel suffers severe damage and water ingress after collision with an other bulk carrier in the Aegean sea. With a set of four motion sensors and a tidal gauge, Siri Marine engineers will closely monitor, on site, the hull integrity of the casualty. First aim will be the removal of fuel oil in order to minimize the risk of environmental pollution.
